How can you prepare?

To ensure the best results and minimize potential side effects, follow these simple steps before your dermal filler appointment:

Avoid alcohol, blood thinners, and anti-inflammatory medications (such as aspirin or ibuprofen) for 24–48 hours prior to your treatment, unless prescribed by your doctor — these can increase the risk of bruising.
Pause supplements like vitamin E, fish oil, ginkgo biloba, and garlic pills, which may also contribute to bruising.
Stay hydrated and maintain a healthy diet.
Avoid dental work or major facial treatments (like facials or peels) for at least 2 weeks before and after your filler session.
Come with clean skin, free of makeup, to reduce the risk of infection.

Contraindications:

Dermal filler treatments are generally safe, but they may not be suitable for everyone. You should avoid this procedure if you:

    Are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Have a history of severe allergies or anaphylaxis.

Have an active skin infection or inflammation at the injection site.

Have certain autoimmune or bleeding disorders (consult with a healthcare provider).

Are currently taking blood thinners without medical approval.

Have had recent facial surgery or trauma in the treatment area.

If you're unsure whether this treatment is right for you, we recommend booking a free consultation to discuss your medical history and goals with a licensed professional.

We've got answers.

  • What can I expect right after the treatment?

Some swelling or bruising may occur — this is completely normal. It typically peaks within 48 hours and fully resolves within 1 to 2 weeks.

  • What kind of results will I see?

You’ll notice enhanced facial contour and definition. Fine lines will appear smoother, volume loss will be corrected, and asymmetry can be improved for a more balanced look.

  • When should I schedule my next appointment?

We recommend a follow-up visit around 2 weeks after treatment, once the product has settled. Results usually last 6 to 12 months, depending on the area treated, the type of filler used, and your individual metabolism.

  • Does the procedure hurt?

Discomfort is minimal. Any post-treatment tenderness can usually be managed with ice packs and over-the-counter Tylenol.

  • What filler brands do you use?

We work with trusted, high-quality products including:

    JUVÉDERM® by Allergan

    Restylane® by Galderma

Redensity™ RHA and RHA® Collection by Revance

These options allow us to tailor your treatment to your unique needs and desired results.
